These silent trees have such foreboding leaves that evoke in me such a primal fear. Both the beauty of the night and subtle glow of day can move my heart to tears. And yet, it’s your magnetic pull that’s driven me askew; my barycenter found. These haunting meadows where I found you, darling, look around you: do you hear that Sound? Chaos of mundane reality lifted, all pretense of time fades away. Here our bodies lie, our spirits so entwined in songs of ancient cosmic prayer. The cosmos stretched out, bare, before us, in all their naked glory, still cannot compare. In this field where the land meets the sky there is a cliff and a bed of trodden grass. Here, we find ourselves alone. The stars will guide us home—and light the hidden path back to the place where the World meets its End and the pretext of Earth fades away. Unbound, we wander, blissfully aimless, outside the reach of time. I wonder: am I your satellite or are you mine? Earthly anchors, impatient, anticipate us on distant shores. I wonder: are you my satellite or am I yours? When the stars align in the night sky, we’ll celebrate our life of simple joys. There, amidst the constellations, comes the declaration of eternal noise. Then, I’ll take my rightful place, aligned there, face to face, forever at your side. Nothing leading me astray–save orbital decay– since you have locked my tides. The thick veil of lovely unconsciousness sets in; all inkling of life fades away. Am I your satellite, or are you… Unbound, we wander, blissfully aimless, outside the reach of time. I wonder: am I your satellite or are you mine? Earthly anchors, impatient, anticipate us on distant shores. I wonder: are you my satellite or am I yours? Unbound, we wander, aloof and aimless, outside the grasp of time. I wonder: am I your satellite or are you mine? Earthly anchors, impatient, anticipate us on distant shores. I wonder: are you my satellite or am I yours?
